Celebrating Ten Years With Harry
It’s not every day you celebrate a decade with someone like Harry Pownall. Known for his honesty, humour and larrikin nature, Harry’s been a big part of The North Agency’s story. As he clocks ten years with director Chris Aldren, we look back on what makes him such a standout.

“It’s about the result at the end of the day — and how you treat people along the way.”
It’s been ten years since Harry Pownall joined The North Agency — and in that time, he’s become one of the most recognisable and well-respected agents in the area.
Harry didn’t arrive with a flashy sales pitch or a rehearsed script. What he brought instead was an energetic, honest approach and a genuine interest in helping people get where they need to go. And that’s never changed. Over the last decade, Harry has quietly built a reputation based on trust, effort, and an easygoing nature that puts everyone at ease.
He knows the Northern Beaches neighbourhoods inside out — from Allambie Heights to Cromer, Brookvale to Beacon Hill — not just because he’s studied the market, but because he’s lived and breathed it. Clients trust him because he tells it how it is. He doesn’t overpromise. He doesn’t cut corners. And he makes sure every seller and buyer he works with feels informed, respected, and heard the whole way through.

A decade of showing up, getting stuck in, and doing the hard work — and Harry has a special knack for making it all look easy.
“I’m not one to put on a show and talk myself up,” Harry says. “It’s about the result at the end of the day — and how you treat people along the way.”
It’s this approach that's made Harry one of our most dependable and consistent agents, and a beloved member of our tight knit team. Harry's track record speaks for itself, but more than that, it’s the way he shows up — for both clients and all of us — that makes him such an important part of The North Agency.
Plenty has changed over the past ten years. The market’s shifted, we've grown in scale, and Harry’s been there through it all — including buying his first unit, and more recently, his first house. He’s seen the industry from all sides, and it’s only sharpened his sense of what matters: relationships, reliability, and putting people first.
We’re lucky to have him. And if you’ve ever worked with Harry, you’ll know exactly what we mean.
Congrats on the ten years, Harry. Here’s to the next chapter.
